OUR SERVICES
Health and Safety is vital to ensure compliance from a regulatory perspective. The CDM Regulations now apply to all categories of construction work. As specialists in undertaking CDM duties, Roberts CDM Services offer the following services, either individually or as a combined package.

PRINCIPLE DESIGNER/ADVISOR
We offer a full Principal Designer service for lead-consultants or other designers appointed to a Principal Designer role (CDM-PD) by a client. This service provides expert advice and guidance on the CDM 2015 regulations to ensure the PD can undertake project health and safety duties effectively.

Our package of ‘essential’ CDM-PD services includes: advice and guidance for regulation compliance; health and safety review of drawings and specifications and provision of Pre-construction Information (PCI) for tendering contractors.
At the end of the project, we can also compile the health and safety file for the project.

CLIENT CDM ADVISOR
As a client you need to appoint a Principal Designer (PD) from the existing design team on projects where more than one contractor is expected to be on site. You must also appoint a Principal Contractor. If you do not make these appointments, you will be deemed, as the Client, to be taking on these roles yourself.
We believe that clients value a CDM advisor to help them comply with health and safety regulations and we are able to offer this service.

CONTRACTOR CDM ADVICE
Our CDM consultants can identify if a project is notifiable or not and guide the contractor through the relevant process, ensuring that all relevant property information is provided (Asbestos, H&S File, etc.) and that key risks are identified, adequate control measures are in place and that suitable documentation is collated for each project.
